Barnets Ven – “The child’s friend” is a role model project for children who need a reliable friend and a positive role model.
Children need security, care and good experiences. But when money has to go a long way, some parents find it difficult to give their children good recreational experiences and sufficient support. And that can harm children’s development and self-esteem. Therefore, these children and families get a young volunteer from “the child’s friend”, which focuses on creating fun experiences and great activities with the child.
The child’s friend is aimed at children aged 6 to 12 years old and the child and the volunteer will meet two times a month.
