In the absence of clear communication – in this case a narrative story, we’re left only with the metaphors and the allegories. And so there will be no definitive answers to “who’s who” and “who’s to blame”…and who are entitled to a #selfie ?
“#selfie #kv13” is set about a week after the municipal elections in Denmark in the fall of 2013.

AKTUALITET – CURRENT
A challenge to our, at times too mainstream, news media, and the way of communication we often take for granted in the world of news coverage.
AKTUALITET (Current) is a project attempting to take an artistic approach to news coverage and current socio-political themes. Every week a new up and coming director produces a short film, expressing a theme in a given news story, in his/her personal creative style. The film is launched every Thursday on the project’s Youtube channel, as well as on other online media. Every film is an alternative and perspectival communication of the themes and stories we meet in conventional news media.
